About The Treehouse House

What are your rates?: We require a two night minimum. You can have up to 4 guests. The rates include access to the Gold level services of Vanessa Santarelli with Your Maine Concierge and a local welcome gift.

Welcome gift includes a bottle of wine, local pancake mix and fixings, local Maine coffee, Nespresso.

In addition, guests will have private access to Lake Pennesseewassee and a dock in the summer (note, during the winter lake access can be affected due to snow conditions).

A 9% Maine State tax will automatically be added at checkout.

Sunday-Wednesday Night..............$650/night

Thursday-Saturday Night................$750/night

Weekly Rate....................................$4,200/week (7 nights) $7,500 (14 nights)

What is the concierge service?: As guests of The Woods Maine you have the access to a phone call with Vanessa Santarelli, Owner of Your Maine Concierge. She will help you with itinerary planning during your stay at The Woods.

Once you have reserved a stay with us, we will introduce you to Vanessa who will schedule a call prior to your arrival. She will help tailor activities, dining recommendations, and any special activities during your stay with us.

Are you a wedding venue?: The Woods Maine is available to rent for wedding or engagement shoots. We do not currently host events including weddings. Contact us directly at info@thewoodsmaine.com for more information.

Does The Woods allow pets?: We do not allow any pets, and we thank you in advance for respecting our strict policy on this.

Can I visit The Woods if I am not a guest?: We appreciate your interest, but The Woods is a privately owned property and the treehouse is our guest house. We do not allow anyone on the property unless they are staying at The Woods as our guests.

Treehouse guest guidelines.

Children under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult while on the premises at all times.
We ask you do not host additional guests or events during your stay.
The Woods Maine has year-round neighbors on either side of the property. These neighbors are friends of the Woods. To respect them, we ask that you respect the following noise restrictions: after 10pm EST for the house, and 9pm EST by the lake.

Our entire property is a NON-SMOKING
Guests do not have access to the main house, garage or shed.
Guests will have use the grill, please ensure you follow instructions on how to use & properly shut down and clean after use.
Please ensure all fireplace are turned off when not in use or in the treehouse.
We have a strict no pet policy.
Use of the lake is at your own risk, we ask you do not dive off the dock.

How many guests can The Woods accommodate?: We can accommodate up to 4 guests. We have a master suite with a king bed, and a full adult bunk room with XL twin beds.

How many bedrooms does The Woods have?: We have two bedrooms. The first-floor bedroom has two XL twin bunk beds and a full ensuite bathroom. The second floor is the master suite, complete with a King bed, sitting area, and full ensuite bathroom.

Does The Woods provide linens?: Yes, we provide luxury linens during your stay. Including bath and lake towels.

Does The Woods have age restrictions?: No, we do not have age restrictions for guests, however, we do require any children under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult at all times when on our property.

Are we allowed to host parties or events at The Woods?: The Woods is not an event venue and the grounds cannot be used as such.

What is your cancelation policy?: If Guests cancel their stay or reduce the number of nights of their stay within the
period that is fifteen (15) to thirty (30) days prior to Guests’ Check-In Date, Guests will
be charged 25% of the rental amount due to The Woods for Guests’ booking of days
cancelled;

If Guests cancel their stay or reduce the number of nights of their stay fewer than
fifteen (15) days prior to Guests’ Check-In Date, Guests will be charged 50% of the
rental amount due to The Woods for Guests’ booking of days cancelled; and

If Guests do not cancel their stay in advance but do not arrive on their Check-In Date
or stay until their Check-Out Date, Guests will be charged the full rental amount due to
The Woods for such days Guests booked the Treehouse, but did not stay at the Treehouse

All use of the lake, dock, and property are at your own risk. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at ALL times while on the property.
We do not provide use of water toys. There are local businesses available to rent (Norway Lake Marina ).
Any kayaks or water toys currently by the lake are not for guest use.
Please ensure all trash is collected on the grounds before leaving, and do not throw trash in the lake or on the property.
No open flames on the premises.
Do not leave food, drink or trash on the property as we have wildlife.
We do have wildlife on the property, please be cautious and do not feed or engage with the animals.

How far Is the lake from the treehouse?: Lake access and dock are a beautiful 5-minute walk downhill on our private property. We recommend bringing sneakers.

Does The Woods have access to the lake and dock?: Yes, you will have access to our lake and dock where you can dock a boat or watercraft. Please note, The Woods does not assume any responsibility or liability for use of the lake, dock, or surrounding land use.

Where is the boat ramp for the lake?: The boat launch is located on Lake Pennesseewassee (Norway Lake). You can access directions here.

Are lake toys available for use (kayaks, boats etc.)?: We do not provide any lake toys, but they are available for rent at the local marina.
